Lawn Fawn's CHA Happy Trails Make and Take
Guess what I found at CHA...Lawn Fawn! I love their cute stamps, so I decided to quickly join in on one of their make and takes. Since the day was coming to an end, I quickly put mine together with the intent on finishing it at home. I finally did! Ironically, I finished it the same day I found out that their headquarters is located in my hometown...yup, I'm in trouble! Here's my finished card:

Penguins, Newspapers, and Copics...oh my....WHAT?!?
Hellooooo my Moonbeams! So glad to see you here! Today I am pleased to share with you a card I created due to inspiration from a number of places...Crafty Card Gallery, Get Inky Challenge, and the Copic Certification classes I took earlier this month with my crafty pal Beth. (She is incredibly funny and a blast to hang with, we had a hoot of a time at Copic and CHA.) Anyhooo....
We learned how to make this fun sparkle spray in our Copic class...using a small amount of Copic ink, some blending solution, and a bit of (I forget the name...) powder. Needless to say, we jumped at the chance to try it and it didn't work (at first). But after she left, I decided to give the small spritzer bottles a second chance and it worked! (I used glossy photo paper for a shine.) I think the trick is not too much powder and letting it dissolve some maybe?
Being a Crafty Card Gallery Design Team member inspired me to doodle up a penguin since this months theme is a penguin or a black and white card. The penguin will be a digi next month for club members (so sign up for the club if you don't want to wait another month for this cutie). I used my new Copic coloring skills to color in the penguin. Did I use black? Nope! Amazing, huh? I thought so...
And the last bit of inspiration came from the current Get Inky Challenge Blog where this weeks challenge is to use Newspaper or the Yellow Pages on your project. Fun! You should check out the Get Inky Design Teams Inspiration Creations over on the Get Inky Stamps Blog...they are amazing!
Links to all blogs mentioned are up there in our LINKS section for you to easily visit with a click of your mouse...we look forward to seeing you at our other locations and we LOVE it when you decide to subscribe, follow, or even just like us! We REALLY get excited when you join in on our weekly challenges too! That's fun! Ya know what they say, "the more the merrier!"...it's true! Well, I hope you enjoyed your time here with me today, as much as I enjoyed your stopping by! Until next time...shine on my moonbeams!

This blog hop is
for us to say goodbye to our previous team members,
For my project, I decided to create this cute little fish card
for my Grandfather's 90 something birthday which is next month.
Using my new Copic skills, I tackled this fish using 6 Copic colors
and 3 of their Spica Glitter Pens. I colored the bubbles with my Copics
and put Glaze pen on top to give them a shine.
I then used some double sided foam
adhesive to pop out his eyes and side fin, giving him some dimension.
I really like the way he turned out...don't you?
This fish is a sneak peek of one of our digis that will be released for our
Inky Moonbeams Club Members next month!

Copic Certified and CHA
I also took a few other workshop classes to gain more knowledge for the uses of these lovely markers. I can't wait to share what I have learned with you!
If you are interested in learning more about Copic markers or taking a class on how to get the best use out of them, visit my SHOP and contact me to find out more.
CHA was AWESOME! To say the least! I met lots of great crafters, found lots of new products (some of which will be finding their way into the Blue Moon Creation Crafting Station this year)!
I think the best item that I found was this awesome tool I discovered (by Marion Smith)
for making your handmade flowers POP! You are going to love it!
If you would like to pre-order one of these beauties, just let me know.
They will cost $24.99 (discount for those of you who are Inky Moonbeam Club members).
Tools will be available in late April/May. Check out this cute tag
I made at CHA (I combined two make and takes to create this cute tag
and then added some Get Inky! bugs to it from the LOVE BUG set)...
See that BLOOMING flower?
I used the TOOL on it and it was SUPER easy.
You will love it! Well, that is all for now. I hope you enjoyed this exciting update!
Stay tuned, tomorrow you will get to see a birthday card I created with a soon to be released Get Inky! digi I colored with my Copics.
Happy Crafting!
