Peachy Photo Inspiration

Using this photo, I wanted to come up with a card. It took me all week to figure this one out. I was stumped. Then this afternoon, it hit me. A duck...a bird...a TURKEY! So...I used the colors and grabbed my stamp and got straight to work. Here's my card:

Thanksgiving Fun with Stamping

Hello Moonbeams! Today I would like to share with you something I created for Thanksgiving Day. It's a cute little idea for you crafters who like to have something special on your dinner table on Thanksgiving. Using stamps from two of my favorite companies (besides my own Get Inky line), I created this adorable orange and green pumpkin treat holder w/one matching button (a Peachy Keen release challenge) and a place setting tag.

Here's a better look at the pumpkin:
This pumpkin has two mini candy bars inside it.

Here's another view:
Stamps Used:
Craffiti Direct (Thanksgiving, leaves, sentiment)
Peachy Keen (Happy, buttons, face on leaf)

I hope you enjoyed this crafty idea as much as I enjoyed making it! Happy crafting!

Peachy Keen Recycle Something Challenge

Hey there my Moonbeams! As you all know, I am a HUGE Peachy Keen fan/stamp collecter. This months release is SEW CUTE! And I love that it goes so well with my Get Inky Sew Sweet Stamps! Anyway...one of the release challenges is to find something in your house that you can recycle and use it to make something new. So when my 2 year old reached for her container of strawberry flavored stars today, I realized it would make a great snowman.

Just yesterday, I received the stamps for this snowman's  face. And today, I received this months awesome release which is where I got the button stamps to put on the snowman. Cool, right!?!

The scarf was made from extra material scraps I have from making blankets. And the hat was created with duct tape, the container lid, and a roll from a pet hair remover roll cut down. Pretty crafty?

To his hat, I added a green ribbon hat band, some Dew Drops, and a holly leaf that I cut on my cricut last month that I never used. This was fun, I hope I've inspired you to dig in your cupboards for things you can use to create holiday decorations with.

Happy crafting!

Sew Sweet Thanks

Hey there Moonbeams! I know it's been a while since my last post, but things have been crazy at my house these past few weeks. And this week is no exception! My 6 yr old son had surgery on Tuesday and had his tonsils and adenoids removed. He did fabulous and is on his way to recovery. I wasn't going to craft during his recovery, but he and I decided I needed to so we could thank all of our friends and family who have given him gifts for having surgery AND missing out on Trick-Or-Treating. This card I'm going to share with you is my creation based on the current Peachy Keen Challenge, Just Cards : Leaves.

Here is a close up of the floral paper with leaves and the flower with leaves:

The sentiment, cupcake, and flower on the card is from Get Inky's Sew Sweet Cupcake Set (which will soon be available in a 4x6" size for only $9.99). The adorable face is from Peachy Keen's Christmas Face Assortment. (Speaking of Peachy Keen, has anybody seen their sneak peeks of this months release? Looks like another AWESOME set! AND...it looks like it would be the PERFECT accompaniment to the Sew Sweet Cupcake Set by Get Inky!) I've already put my order in for it by joining their stamp club! I can't wait!

Here is the entire card:

That's all for now, thanks sew much for stopping by, stay tuned for more fun things from Blue Moon Creation. Take care!
