For my project, I made a Thank You card using the soon to be released Love Bugs Set and the Joyful Jar Drinks Set currently available HERE. I paper pieced the lid of the jar to add dimension. I used Copics to color the jar and the fireflies in. The sentiments are from the Love Bugs Set, as are the bugs, and the jar is from the Joyful Jar Drinks set. We are now accepting pre-orders for the NEW RELEASES at our SHOP.

For The Plants vs Zombies Fan...

Here's a card I created for my hubby's birthday using Peachy Keen Challenge : Photo Inspiration. My husband loves playing Plants vs Zombies with our son, so my son and I thought this would make a good birthday card.

I scoured the Internet for pictures of the plants, the pea shooter and sunflower was all I could find.

I took a 6x12 inch green cardstock and folded it in half. To make the checkerboard grass, I then cut slits in the front one inch apart to weave my dotted green one inch strips of paper through. I had to cut a few squares of the dotted paper to glue on the first row of the card. And on the last inch at the top of the card, I put down blue cardstock and the white picket fence (which I forgot to distress). Oops.. I then fussy cut the images of the pea-shooters and sunflowers and added them to the lawn. Used two green gemstones as peas that shoot out from the pea-shooters.

For the sun I used my Peachy Keen Mini Sun Stamp (PK-?), and colored it in with my Copic markers.

Inside I glued a "note" (not from the Zombies) but from the friend who wants you to leave your door open and lawn unguarded so he could bring a birthday present over. I printed it on my computer, tore the edges, crumbled it, then distressed it.

I think it came out cute. My brother saw it and now wants one for his sons birthday in a few weeks.

Getting Inky!

I love creating new stamps for my Get Inky! Stamp line! I just hope you all enjoy the images as much as I enjoy designing them!

I have been hard at work designing THREE NEW stamp sets!!! They will be released this summer, so keep watching for sneak peeks from the design team. Two of the sets will compliment two of the sets already available! The design team is so excited about that, they can hardly wait!

I also have a few more that I've been playing around with, that I hope to have finished for the summer release too.
