Vacation Creations

While packing for vacation, I felt the need to pack card crafting supplies for three cards for my friends and family (that we'd see on our trip). Once the Peachy Keen Challenge was revealed (photo inspiration) I was able to pack some stuff using the colors in the photo. Here are my cards I created the first few nights on our trip. My favorite is the moon. Enjoy!

Greeting Card Gift Card Holder

This weeks Peachy Challenge that just started is Cards with an area to hold money or a gift card. Since I just decided to use these cute little old Peachy Bees, along with a sentiment from Get Inky's! Buzzing Bee set, it  wasn't too hard to think of how I'd put it together...big front with foam adhesive as the area for the gift card.

Inside reads "a Hap-bee  Birthday!" using this cute (and huge) bee set from Get Inky!

This set has lots that you can create with it! Totally worth every penny. It's huge! Anyway...

I'm entering this card in these challenges:

Santa's Sweet Shop

Here is my take on a Mojo Monday Sketch along with a Peachy Keen Challenge, Wrap It With Ribbon...I love wrapping my cards with ribbon, so using their new stamp sets just released this month, I made a Christmas card and a matching box:

Here is the card, wrapped in ribbon...

I think it came out great...even after having dropped it right after getting all the Stickles and Glaze on it! Luckily, it landed on it's side, so it survived!

Inside I have stamped a cute HOHOHO from Get Inky Stamps (shhh...sneak peek, of next weeks release). As soon as I can get a good photo of it without worrying about ruining the front of my card, I'll post it.

I love Christmas in July. We actually have some decor up in the house right now. And...it wouldn't be Christmas in July without presents! Right? So follow my blog and one lucky follower will win some Get Inky! Stamps. Will that winner be you?

OWH Sketch #180

Hi friends! I am currently in card making mode as July is upon us and my Birthday present to myself is actually me giving to others...I make at least a card each day in July, and by the 31st (my birthday) I pack up the cards and send them to Sandy, with Operation Write Home. So, ready to see what I completed tonight? (Oops, cant show 3 of them because they have new Get Inky! images and sentiments on them.) These cards were inspired by their current challenge, Sketch #180. Halloween cards are due at the end of August, so I made some of those for my box...

Cute? I had fun with them! Thanks for stopping by!

You Light Up My Life

This weeks challenge at Peachy Keen is a sketch challenge. I have combined my Get Inky! Love Bug Set with Peachy Keen's SOTM from April 2013 to create this card. I had to get creative with the cute Peachy Jar because it wouldn't fit as is so I needed to modify it a bit. I inked and stamped the bottom portion, then inked and stamped the top portion, leaving out some of the middle to make a smaller jar. Then I stamped the cute little bugs from my Get Inky! Set and put them on an action wobble.
The sentiment is also from the Get Inky! Love Bug Set. I used my Copics to color the jar, bugs, and lid.
Here's the adorable 4x6" Love Bug Set that is only $14.99 for all of these cuties...

Thanks for stopping by!
