Prizes: DeNami is giving away THREE $20 gift certificates to their website! They will be giving away one gift certificate to a random participant (DT members not eligible) and then they will also be giving away TWO gift certificates to TWO people who comment along the hop!

For my project, I created a wall deco piece for my kids room.
It is placed in a shadow box to allow for dimension.
There are lots of layers paper pieced in this project. Here is what I did...
I stamped the DeNami window stamp (found HERE) 4 times,
once on vellum, then on the green patterned cardstock, then on red cardstock,
and on white cardstock. I then stamped the Denami chick with the flower (found HERE)
onto the vellum, then inked up the butterfly from the chick with net stamp (found HERE)
and stamped that in the opposite corner of the window.
Then I used a butterfly trail clear stamp (found HERE) to tie it all together.
I colored the image with my Copics, only after flipping over the vellum
and coloring on the other side (to avoid having my stamp image smear during coloring).
I think by using the vellum it gives it more of a window feel to the project.
I then cut out the window panes from the white cardstock
and the green cardstock. The green cardstock had a wonderful pattern
which reminded me of a valance, which is why I used it.
It is from The Sweet Stack Paperstack by DCWV.
I replaced the white panes with the green
then matched it up with the vellum and carefully added glue
to each corner and the majority of glue to the planter area.
Cut the planter piece from the red cardstock found in my stash and used double sided foam
adhesive to attach it for dimension, only after tying some bakers twine on.
I took my brown Kraft cardstock and ran it through the fiskars crinkle thingy
then attached the window using Tombow glue (my favorite).
The tag was made using a Cuttlebug tag die
and is stamped with the words "dream big" (found HERE).
For the roof I used the same cardstock as the planter.
And with some fancy edge scissors, I trimmed three strips of paper
and layered them strategically to look like a roof using
double sided foam adhesive. I then trimmed it to fit into the shadow box.
I hope you like it and find that it inspires you to
dream big in your creations with DeNami Design Stamps!

Here it is hanging on the wall...
