12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop Day 8

Welcome to Day Eight of the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop.

You should be arriving here from the blog of

On the eighth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...
A pretty un-candle flickering.

Hi hoppers! This is a fun crafted gift for your friends and family. I know because I made a bunch of them for my friends and family and the crafters in the family are now planning on craft lifting my idea.

I used a variety of glass jars, my favorite was this one pictured and the canning jars. Basically I went to Jo-Ann's and purchased a huge garland with features I wanted...pine cones, berries, and pine needles. Found some frosted decorative glass and matching ribbon. Some battery powered tea lights and got to work. Used wire cutters to trim the garland to sizes I could stuff into the jars. Carefully added the frosted glass into the jars and then added the garland. Strategically placed the battery powered tea light and tied a bow with my ribbon at the top. I really love the look of these! (I'm not going to show you the mason jar ones because after playing around for hours with these, I discovered something else that was also too much fun to create...I promise I'll show you tomorrow!)
